Comment: The garage door on our house has been sticking some times for the last couple of months when we open the door with the garage door opener. Starting last week it sticks every time we try to open the door with the opener. When we have disengaged the opener and lifted the door by hand it seems to bind as the first or second panel passes the curve in the track. The springs that help lift the door do not look like they are broken. The person that installed the opener on the garage door did not reinforce the garage door. At some time later the door has been reinforced but only after the top panel of the door has been bent some. We are trying to find out about repairs or replacement of the garage door.
