Comment: The leg of a bed footboard is cracked and needs strengthening. The bed was being moved by one person and all the weight of the bed was on that one leg and it did not want to move. The move was discontinued and the bed is being supported underneath the footboard until it can be fixed. I am sure the best way to repair it is to remove the mattress and detach the footboard from the rest of the bed. Or do you recommend trying to find a new or used footboard?
