| Comment: We're looking for someone to install an interior basement drainage system (tiles, sump, etc.) in our older home. Water leaks into the basement near the base of all the walls whenever it rains. Most of the areas where the water is coming in are far from exterior walls and downspouts, so an exterior system would probably not work. The floor is older concrete, only several inches thick, so that would need to be cut out around the walls to install tile. The basement is 2 rooms for a total wall length of 120 feet. Actually, the "basement" is more of a "cellar," so cosmetically the cut out concrete could be replaced with gravel--unless structural soundness would require repouring concrete. |
