| Comment: On the south side of our home the water doesn't make it to the front of the home and makes its way into the ground and around the window wells which in turn causes them to fill up with water and leak into our unfinished basement. We bought the home as a foreclosure and this has done this for 3 years and the builder, Lennar, told us the grade over time (previous owner was investor that never finished the backyard-flooded for a previous owner that builder wasaware of too) so we finished the back yard and didn't stop the problem but was less water than before. We get some good rainstorms out this way so water from the home or home of others (homes are close together) seems to accumulate. There isn't noticeable standing water that forms but over time seaps into the ground. Becasue of the rain would be a good time to come take a look at this to see what we need to do? We have our ideas but think more job for me as the homeowner to do. |
