| Comment: This house is located in Minnesota, in Anoka County, in the Cedar area, by Lake George. The house was built in 1968. I lived here since 1976. There were no noticeable water problems until about 1993 I did notice during this time frame there was some white mold type substance (fussy dry to touch) on some of the interior wall, that the problem is occurring, and at a few spots on the blocks there was some deteriorates of the block (if you rubbed with the bare hand some of the block came off, in a sand like form) that contacted the poured concrete floor. The problem started around the time when I finished off a room (about one or two years later, 1995, in one corner of the house). This was the year we had a late winter rain, where there was much rain. It was actually flowing through the bottom block. I dug two holes about six to eight feet from the foundation of the house at a depth of four to six feet. The water stop coming through the block and the holes filled with water abo |
