Comment: We have an exixting very old home in Bayview.  The home is built on a slope and the house is supported on a concrete block foundation on one side of the house and timbers on the other side.  We are considering an addition to the home.  This addition will be partially under the existing home.  In effect, the addition becomes the 1st floor and the existing home becomes the second floor.  The addition is being planned to extend approximately 9' under the part of the house being supported by timbers.  We need a contractor to 1) build a pier or column foundation for the existing home, and 2) pour a foundation for the new addition.  There may be more work available depending upon the contractors qualifications.  Plans are not yet availanle.  We expect this work to be done over this summer.
