| Comment: House was built approx 1950. Rain water coming in back wall which block is totally exposed so we added more topsoil and problem not fixed. Side of house has water leakage too and we thought about a french drain on this side. We took the downspouts out of the ground and temporarily rerouted them away from the house (above ground) to see if that would fix the problem and it got a little better but there is still leakage. It has been raining everyday so there has not been much of a chance for the ground to dry out. Heavy rain comes in a lot. We need to sell this house so we have to make repairs first. |
