| Comment: Gas logs do not light. They were working a couple of months ago. Unsure why they won't turn on. How much would it cost to have someone come out and diagnose the problem and provide an estimate or simply fix? Would it be possible for them to bring replacement logs if the unit cannot be fixed? If so, approximately how much would a new, basic gas log system cost to purchase and install? |

| Comment: We did not use our Real-Fyre G6 series (propane)gas log set for years now because it was very inefficient. We recently attempted without success to start it up for the holidays. Upon further investigation my husband found that the plastic knob on the burner appears to have caught fire at some time. We cleared everything out. We tossed out the embers, but saved the logs and all other parts. We're hoping to repair and salvage what we can and then replace what is necessary. We need an expert. |
