| Comment: Hello, we have a Vermont Castings wood stove (Encore #2550) that we would like to install in a house we just purchased. We have it sitting in a fireplace and would like to run the new flue up the existing brick flue and then through the roof. The old chimney does not travel through the roof anymore, it was knocked down and now terminates in the attic. We are fairly sure it is full of the bricks that used to make up the chimney above the roof line. We could remove them or if your company has any tricks for doing this we would be interested to have you do it. We're on a budget but are looking to have this type of work done professionally so we don't accidentally burn our house down. We look forward to hearing from you.
