Comment: This is a Rasmusen gas log fieplace (vented so ornamental not the heat buster) that was in house when we purchased it in May. I contacted company and there is no repairmen for this product in our area. They will provide email instructions but I am not comfortable with that. We leave the pilot light on at times. It can take a couple of times to get the fireplace to ignite when I flip the switch and when it is lit the flame will go out by itself but the pilot light is still on and if I put a lighter by it - it will light again so gas is coming out when it shuts itself off (it makes a little groan sound when it shuts itself off). I think something is wrong with ignitor switch and maybe something needs to be cleaned so it works properly. It doesnt seem major but I am not comfortable trying to mess with this.

Comment: When the stove was installed, years ago, they bottlenecked an 8" pipe into a 6" pipe. We would like to modify the stove with a 6" pipe if possible. Also, there is an elbow that needs to be removed and we would like to move the stove over and try to place it as directly underneath the flu going up through the house to the roof.
