| Comment: Hello, I am a developer and am rehabbing a three-flat in Chicago. Each unit has a de-commissioned fireplace that I would like to bring back into service. The firebox is brick and there are separate flues for each unit, all within the same chimney stack. We will need to have the chimney inspected and/or repaired if necessary, a log set, burner and most likely, glass screens. Please call if you need further information. xxxxx xxxxx Lee Street Development xxxxxxxxxxxx |

| Comment: I am in the process of purchasing a condo and it includes a gas insert fireplace with burning logs. For some reason the previous owner never connected the gas line into the fireplace although a stubbed gas line looks to be available as I see it protruding into the fireplace insert yet it is capped. In taking ownership of the property I would be looking to have the fireplace inspected & connected but need to understand the costs involved first. |
