| Comment: High winds blew the fence down. The fence divides my property from my neighbor's. there are 6 rotted posts sheared off at ground level.At least 1 of them was in concrete, unknown depth. There is about 70 feet to replace. Fence is 5 feet, all wood, dog eared picket on both sides, top rail and bottom rail. I would prefer to have the posts planted at 6ft intervals rather than 8ft. I would prefer 3 rails instead of 2 for added strength. <br />I will remove all of the downed fence from the property myself and attempt to remove the underground section of the broken posts. I may leave them alone if the post spacing changes. <br />I considered hiring out the setting of new posts in concrete and doing the rest myself to cut costs. |
