Concluded something in the fan failed because nothing in the fan was getting power (tested with electric meter). Tried to remove existing fan and cannot figure out how to get the thing off the ceiling. Time to call a professional. |

| Comment: Since this form gave no place for kitchen fan I'll try describing my need here. I have a 9 1/4 inch square opening with square duct work and a pull chain to operate outdoor damper. I need a fan to replace the old Signal Brand this was once there. Old opening has a power plug (Female) to accomodate a "pigtail" plug for fan. Since this was installed back in the 50's I understand some upgrade will be needed, and the brand flexible. Ready to install or have it installed anytime. Bob |
