| Comment: I have a 200A main elec. panel in laundry room. I desire to add a heat pump and salt water generator to my pool. There is not service out there. My limited expertise tells me to add a 100a sub-panel outside from the main panel. the main panel currently has a 20a for the pool pump and 20a for irrigation pump. I think #2 wire should be used, pulling it through the attic for a run of 50'. Keeping 'all' the pool equip'mt on the same panel (I think)is the correct way to go. I'd appreciate an average 'cost' in US dollars in a qualified electrician would to be performing the job. I'm a twice wounded veteran from Vietnam and [cannot] because of limitations do it myself.
