| Comment: Greetings, I would like to have an estimate for the following: 1) Replacing the old wiring, and replacing all outlets in the house that are not grounded. There is one external outlet, as well. 2) There are a couple of outlets that have stopped working (one in the bathroom, one in the garage), and I'd like have those fixed. 3) There is one light fixture (a hanging chandelier c1970...) that I would love to replace, if it can be estimated, as well. Rewiring would be done primarily on the first level of the residence. The basement was recently unfinished in order to anchor and drain the foundation, providing relatively easy access to the main level. Any wiring changes for the basement will be handled when it is remodeled. The house is from the early 1950s, and I'm not sure what all the previous 2 owners have done to the electrical. Possibly not much since the fuse box was replaced with a breaker box less than a month before I bought the house about 5 or 6 years ago. Please call or e-mail t |

| Comment: Antioxidant paste is missing at the Aluminum conductor lugs at the main panel.Multiple wires are connected to a single lug on a circuit breaker where only one wire should be connected in the main panel. Breakers / fuses protecting the A/C compressor(s) are oversized and should be replaced. The unit calls for a maximum 30 amp breaker but a 40 amp is installed. Check polarity and GCFI outlets. |
