| Comment: My dryer stopped producing heat. It is going on 4 years old. I unplugged it and looked at the prongs, and it seems like one of the prongs has a little burnt rubber around it. (Its very faint and I can't be for sure)I really don't know if it's the dryer or the electrical outlet. I moved it from the wall, to clean it again and when I plugged it back in it produced heat for about 1 minute. It smelled like it was burning so I shut it off, and now once again, it produces air, but no heat. Is there anyway to know if I need an electrician or appliance repair, without having you both out? |
