Comment: I'm stripping the wall paper in my kitchen to discover that the sheet rock under it is a disaster. I'm wondering how much it would cost to just add sheet rock to the existing walls. The ceiling is half popcorn ceiling... and needs to be either stripped or covered with sheet rock. It also has a sag where there was water damage prior to my purchase of the house. I'm thinking sheet rock all around would be the easiest... and finished to the point where I can paint. I'm JUST looking for an estimate.
