| Comment: I had ground water in basement last summer and no sump pit or pump installed for one week. We removed all drywall and insulation (maybe would not have had to do that) 4 ft up and all flooring. Most of bathroom was gutted because there was more spread of moisture there due to small size of the room. Once we had the sump pit installed the water was out by that evening but the drywall had absorged alot of moisture. We did clean up within about a week so that part went well. I just had egress windows put in so they will need to get trim once the drywall is repaired. Will need texturing done to match the upper part of the wall that remains. Also have a couple of damaged spots in the remaining drywall that will need repair. I would like to get estimates and description of what all you would do and go from there. I really want to have my house back in order yet this summer. Thank you. |
