| Comment: A year ago I had my kitchen and master bath redone. I thought I was finished, but you know how that goes. In any case, the 45-year old sliding (hanging) closet doors in the master bedroom have given up the ghost - they keep falling off the track and I figure the best solution is to replace the whole mess with new doors, tracks, rollers, etc. I expect to live here for another 20 or more years, so I want to get superior hardware. Presently there are two sliding doors. The doors themselves are 36" wide, 93" tall and a bit more than an inch thick. The overall opening is 71.5" wide and 95.625" tall; the wall jamb is 4.75". I've replaced all the hollow core doors in the house with red oak paneled doors. I want to continue this look with my closet doors. |
