Comment: I have an old dock that is in desperate need of major repair. Was standing until Hurricane Isabelle, which took out a large chunk. Haven't been home to repair, so wood continues to rot. Was told prior to buying the house that only permit that should be needed is for repair to existing dock. Dock currently stands in a tidal creek, at low tide roughly 5" deep and around 3 feet feet at high tide (sometimes higher). Would like dock to accommodate kayak, jet ski and/or very small boat
