| Comment: The wall to my garage has a cement staircase on the opposite side. There is a gap between the vinyl siding and the steps that has rotted out the wood behind the vinyl siding. This slowly let some water into the garage wall. The inside wall covering o got a bit moldy so I removed them, but the inside seems relatively mold free beyond that. One beam in the wall was soft from the water. Ideally I'd like to patch up the gap, replace with new wood, and replace the beam if necessary. <br /> <br />Side note: I have a cheap water heater that was given to me a while back and wanted to go ahead and get it installed. The lines exist, but the CPVC just needs to be cut. |
