| Comment: A house fire changed my life! I am loosing my hope, my mind, and my home due to our house fire where my husband almost died. Who can help with repairs? How do I restore the smoke damage? Do the walls have to be torn down? Will there be mold from the water from the fireman? Do they need to repair the whole roof, the rafters...where do you start if you can only afford a small amount per week? What is most important? In electrical fires, do all electrical items need to be rewired? So many questions after a fire...maybe you can help??? Maybe others can help?? Please help us find skilled volunteers, a grant,a loan or some help to restore our home. We were awakened at 3:00 am to our house on fire. Our dog licked my husband and he woke me up. After getting me out of the house he returned to get our "coco" out of the burning house. The fire was electrical and needs new wiring, windows and a roof.
