| Comment: 12 years ago I had vanity/toilet removed from small 1950s built bathroom. Purpose was to remove dry rot from underneath vinyl floor covering. Damaged wood was cut out. Same problem has returned. There is visible damage to floor as seen from under-house crawl space. The cast iron tub will probably have to be removed this time. Plumbing from house all meets under this bathroom floor before connecting to sewer line. Plumbing needs to be thoroughly assessed after the dry rot damage is repaired. |
