I burnt some of my noodles in a pot and smoke poured out into the living room. nothing caught fire. and i aired it out right away and the smoke was gone in a bout 10 minutes. My mom is saying that everything must be ruined and well have to paint all the walls and spend thousands of dollars. I would be surprised if any at all damage was done but my mom thinks so because she just got back home and it was recent so it still smells. | Comment: Over the past several years, my neighbor above me has had multiple water leaks from tub, toilet and sink in bathroom. My HOA has given him three letters over the years, the last directed him to hire a professional to get it fixed once and for all so I could get my place fixed. My wall is buckled and the ceiling is falling in over the tub. When the HOA went to his unit to inspect, they found he had no seal between the tub and tile, and the tub and floor, the flooring was curled up, and he had placed a cup between the toilet and shower to "catch" drips. He has no insurance. |
