| Comment: i PREFER coastal, traditional, antique or rustic gustavian, or maybe contemp - but probably not ! It's not even what I'd call a kitchen it's more like a 14' long kitchen suite or breakfast bar! I HATE IT !!! But by knocking out a small L shaped wall & moving the plumbing to what will be a new 1/2 wall to where the old, full L was it should function as a fairly decent kitchen. We'll also have to move the icebox to the main long wall & it'll have to be a counter-depth icebox ! I've gotta get the current tile up as it's too light for my husband who works outside & tracks lots of dirt & water into the kitch - I have new tile picked out (porcelain). We just put the tile down 10yrs ago & it's quite nice -- when clean, but with my back injury, I can't mop every other day !!! That's $500.00 down the drain (a friend put it in or it woulda been double that cost), plus the cost to get it up & prep the floor !!! All NEW CABINETS are necessary IN ORDER TO REMODEL AS THE |
