| Comment: Current deck is over 35 years old and I believe is time to be replaced. It will be smaller than current. I want it 12' by 8'. 3' rail with a 4"-6" top rail. Steps leading out into the yard from the front. 3' wide with steps that are 9" wide. Current deck is attached to the house and supported by two other posts at the end. Looking to possibly add a couple extra posts on the remodel for additional support. |

| Comment: I just had a paver walkway/drainage system put in, and am now seeking bids for a deck. I don't have an exact size off-hand, but I think it's about 16x18. My house was built in 1912, so the deck will be freestanding and not actually attached to the house, although it should appear to be. I will want it low to the ground so as not to need railings and it will need to have a single step surrounding two sides. |
