| Comment: We're considering adding granite (or similar) countertops to our kitchen to prepare it for resale. I want to be honest is saying, we're just trying to make it more marketable and not trying to spend as much as if we planned to live here for a long time. We're open to cost cutting approaches, material, etc. We're looking for an estimate to remove and replace the current lamenant countertops with granite or similar (including a 1-2" lip on the wall where backsplash would go), remove the matching lamenant backsplash and patch the wall (we don't need any fancy backsplash - we'll just paint the wall), and probably put in a new sink. Part of the countertop is a peninsula so we'd likely need something to help hold the weight of the new counters up. |
