| Comment: Project Description: I am completing a small kitchen makeover to include: (1) Replacing existing tile countertop and backsplash with new marble countertop and subway tile backsplash; (2) Paint white wood cabinets a new color; (3) Install new appliances and repair cabinets as needed to accommodate them; and (4) Build a box to cover the refrigerator so that its sides can't be seen. What I need: Ideally, I'd prefer someone who could do the entire project but I am considering using 1-2 contractors--one to replace the countertops and backsplash and one to paint, repair, and build the additional cabinet. Please let me know if you are capable of doing the complete job or just the countertops. I would like to complete the job quickly (don't want the job to drag on and on). | Comment: Rann: <br /> <br />You did our kitchen granite in Danville (692 Adobe Drive). <br /> <br />Our daughter just purchased a 60's condo in Oakland by the Lake. The bar/counter top was just a strip of wood which we removed and now need granite or alternative to make presentable. It would have to start out narrow (7 or 8 inches) and then eventually bow out to make it useable. Would you be interested in such a small job?
