| Comment: Existing driveway is gravel. One side is against the house (brick) and the other side is against a 10 foot cedar fence. Drive is about 13 1/2 foot wide. I am getting ready to install an iron gate with an electric opener so I will need 2 posts set in place. On the house side, there is a concrete sidewalk below the gravel that will need to be penetrated for the post. On the Fence side there is 12 inch irrigation pipe about 15 inches below the surface of the gravel. Post on the fence side may be able to be a "Tie-in" to the fence. Minimal size of the flatwork will be 13 1/2 feet by 14 feet. Depending on the price, I may wish that the concrete be extended to the full length of the house which is about 35 feet long. There are also 2 foundation vents that need to be taken into consideration |
