I replaced the roof in that area on my own and had intentions of leaving the chimney to run up under the eaves and soffit. With time being an issue, the project was never completed. I also don't like the look of the "half-chimney". I am needing a new chimney built approx. 29" x 56" x 12.5 feet tall. I also need a cricket installed and proper chimney flashing prior to completing my siding project. Interested in possibly stucco on the chimney. The chimney is all wood and does not need a vent stack. I have a ventless fireplace installed.
