| Comment: I have a brick wall that was originally where the garage door was going into what was a one-car garage. The brick wall is supposed to be like a planter or something on top. The entire wall is breaking away from the house and leaning towards the sidewalk in front of it. The brick around the window on the side of the old garage is getting a gap in it. At one time we had someone check and the foundation appeared to be okay on that corner of the house but that may have changed. We need the brickwork checked out and will probably need to redo the sidewalk and driveway around that part of the house (not sure). There was a bad repair job in the mortar on some of the house. All of this remodel and repair job was done before I moved in about 13 years ago. |
