That caulk is now badly cracked and looks like th e wall is slowly coming away from the house. We need to find out cost estimate for either repair of brick or replacement with vinyl siding. The cracks do not appear to be affecting the basement. The area in the basement that is covered by sheet-rock does not have water/rain coming in. The other two areas are: 1) in the corner of the garage and 2) next to the fireplace chimney in the family room with a slab floor. It would appear that the footings are where the problem may have been created. <br /> <br /> |
