| Comment: I am interested in an estimate in redoing an outside tiled staircase The original stairs were never grouted properly (foreclosure development property) and tiles continually fall off and discolor with efluorescence. I need the area redone properly and the work warranted through at least the next 2 year sof freezes to insure the current issues will not come back and it remains water tight and sealed. The staircase itself was built in 2008 with the house, new construction. There are about 16 steps in all, about 5-7 feet wide, with 3 landings. We are looking most likely to replace the existing tiles with something to give more of a slate look and have a more textured (less slippery) finish than the existing porcelain tile.
