| Comment: I want to get advice on the process and requirements as well as cost estimates on an addition to a house in Sparks NV. This is our first time through the permit and building process so we need to know what to expect before going forward. Existing house was built in 2003, slab foundation, addition will be on a side of house that has what I believe is called a half hip. (no gutters would be installed but it has a slight angle at the top. Addition would be approx 35' x 25' (long side attached to existing house) No plumbing in addition, only electrical. Basic rectangle addition with one dividing wall. Wood siding, shingle roof to match house. Would like advice on the process and estimates for architectual drawings, permit fees and proceedure for filing, and estimates on construction. |
