| Comment: We have a gable roof on our newly purchased home built in 1976. The roof does not have any cross beams nor any vertical risers nor diagonal beams. We're not sure that this is okay and need a structural engineer to make recommendations, particularly as relates to it being able to safely support snow load. |

| Comment: Our home was built in 2006 so there are really no established trees and our small, level lot feels very open to the neighbors. There is some landscaping but we'd like to take it to the next level in terms of curb appeal and function. We are looking for a good plan that can be implemented in stages over the next few years. We'd like some screening and while we are not opposed to a fence, we would like to explore landscape options such as berms/shrubs/trees. We would also like to incorporate a vegetable garden and a play area. We have four young children so easy maintenance is a plus. We love perennials and bulbs versus annuals. We have a small patio off of the kitchen that could use some all-season interest. |
