Comment: We would like to add about 950 sqft to our house including a family room, 3/4 bath, bedroom, and office. This would be on the back of our house on flat ground with a crawl space underneath if possible. We are really looking for someone to make plans and take care of the foundation and framing. We have contractors for the other work already.

Comment: I am about to start finishing my basement and I want to replace a 15 foot load bearing wall with a beam. I plan to hire a contractor to frame and replace the wall with a beam since I am not confident in doing something like that myself. I want to be sure it is possible, that the right beam is used, and that it is done correctly.

Comment: I need to know what walls inside a a 300 SQ FT office space are load bearing walls. The office sits above a cement basement with what I think are load bearing cement cross-over beam supports (visable in the basement ceiling under the office) and directly under a wall in the middle of the office space. I believe the wall in the middle of the office space is a load bearing wall because of this. I need an expert's confirmation.
