Comment: The dryer is taking about 1 1/2 hrs to dry each load, where it used to take half that time. The clothes are coming out of washer fine, spun pretty dry and even when I split load in half to dry, it is still taking over an hour. We had Sears come and they said it wasn't the thermostat but most likely the vent so we cleaned out the vent and the dryer but it made no difference. We did notice however with the front off of the machine that the electrical element did not always appear to be lit up when the dryer was going, sometimes taking many minutes to light up after the dryer was started.
