| Comment: We have an about 15 year old central a.c. Compressor is bad, but in reading it sounds like should replace the whole unit. We have about 1200 sq ft on first floor and same in basement (but we rarely use it and shut off that area a lot) Cathedral ceiling in great room. Want to hire someone reputable and who could also help us pick out a decent a.c. unit that is the right size. Do not want to do a lot of extra stuff that isn't needed which a company here in town said we would need. The weird thing is they put in the last a.c. and didn't do aldl the stuff they say needed now so I am very skeptical. Thanks. Kathy P. |
