| Comment: After 5/10 storms the A/C stopped working. The fan outside is not turning & makes a screeching noise. FEMA asked for 3 estimates to verify if the storms & tornadoes caused the A/C to stop working. Had the condenser & capacitor replaced 4/09 due to the high winds & rain. Need free estimates because I'm on fixed income. |

| Comment: On 5/10/10, we had 3 tornadoes passed by us and we lost power. When the power came back on, the A/C did not come on. The fan outside was not turning & it made a screeching sound. In April 2009, we had same problem & coil outside kept icing up. That was caused by the straight line winds and rain coming in through the roof vent. I spent $2000. to have it fixed, including the compressor & captulator(?). I turned the fan on at the thermostat which worked, but not the A/C. My insurance and FEMA dies help, saying it was not caused by the storms even though it worked fine before the storms. I have one lung and on a fixed income. I also have terminal cancer and confined to my room because I can't breathe when it's 90 degrees in the rest of the house. My room is 84 degrees & the humidity is making me sick & weak. I can't cook due to the heat and I have no money to fix the A/C. No one check the roof or breaker that is on the light pole. Need someone to find the problem, wha |
