| Comment: I have 1.5 baths that share a wall. I am wanting to make the .5 bath a custom steam shower. It is approximately 4x5x8. I am hoping to pull the toliet out of the .5 bath and convert that drain to be used as the new shower drain. The existing door that goes into the half bath will need to be removed and the opening closed off. The shared wall between the bathrooms will need to be cut to fit the steam shower door. I have the steam generator, control unit, steam shower door, and a light. I will be getting porcelain tile from home depot or lowes. I am looking to see about what it would run to have this shower installed including the price of whatever water/vapor proofing system you are comfortable with using. The water proofing system is the one thing I have not picked out because there are several great systems out there and I want to use the one that whichever contractor I go with is comfortable using.
