| Comment: The original structure was an early 1900's homestead house--it has been added onto over the years and is in major disrepair but still has a look we would like to maintain. Much of the plumbing and electrical has already been updated but the kitchen and front entry needs to be redesigned for replacement. We would also like another bedroom and bathroom added onto or cleverly within the house. The roof also needs to be redesigned and replaced to fit the home. If there is any money left, we would like a surround patio and a very simple deck from our south facing living room. We are ready to start some serious planning for practical functionality living. Based on that I think we need a design and build firm or at least a good contractor that is willing to work from vague plans. Thanks for your guidence. Cynthia |
