Comment: We have a SMALL house on a lake not far from Lewiston. Last summer we had to “take apart” the basement because of mold. That meant pulling up the flooring and taking down a good deal of wall and insulation and putting in French drains and a sump pump. We do not know if we need any kind of air circulator. Currently we use the home seasonally, but potentially that could change. We are now looking at putting it back together and are considering options for optimizing the space. Originally there were two small bedrooms on the lake side and basement area on the back side that encompasses the bulk head, Oil tank and furnace and hot water tank, as well as the well pump. We dream of putting in a clean space for washer and drier as well as ½ or ¾ bath and a bit of storage. I would like to maintain the two bedrooms. Needless to say we/I am having trouble envisioning how this would all work and even if we can do what I would like in the small space.
