| Comment: turn existing bathroom into a utility room. create a new bathroom, with walk-in, ADA compliant shower, in what is now a bedroom. (near the existing bath) this will require new electrical outlets and fixtures relevant to the project, too. build a stairway to the attic. lay a solid floor in the attic, and create a small room with walls and ceiling up there, for a walk in closet and storage. lay a floating floor in my living room. (i can probably do this myself, but not until the things i can't do are finished.) create more outlets in my living room. repair or replace plaster ceiling in living room. replace old gas and water lines throughout home. create a user-friendly main shut off valve for water coming to the house. i have no central heat and air, and my water heater is very old. i probably cant afford geothermal, but id like to know if i can have more economical heat and hot water. |
