"Finally completed all approvals from the City. Hiring contractor now so they can pull permit. If you are going to use this architect, make sure you have everything checked out yourself with the City. He will nickel and dime everything from plans and specs and try to get additional money for services. Hash out everything in the contract and make sure it is listed or it will be additional.

We are sorry for the time the building department took to approve your project, but it falls within their normal schedule and beyond our control. Unfortunately cities are often understaffed. All the services for this project were given to the client in writing in a proposal and the standard agreement form. The fees were very reasonable.
