Dates and Location: September 9-12, 2008 at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center. For attendees unfamiliar with north Texas, Grapevine is equidistant to Dallas and Fort Worth, just north of both metropolises, and is right next to the Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport. The reason for this is simple: With travel costs at or near record highs, you don't need additional worries about your travel itinerary. Book your flight and you'll practically land at this year's convention.
The National Association of Elevator Contractors Annual Convention is once again a showcase for the elevator industry's most cutting edge technology, business practices, and products, in the fall of 2008.With a star-studded and fun-filled schedule that includes seminars, exhibits, round table discussions, golf tournaments, and social networking opportunities, the NAEC Convention is the place to be in September if you're a member of the elevator industry.
National Association of Elevator Contractors Annual Convention: Exhibit Hall
As with most tradeshows, the convention will center around the exhibit hall. Covering more than 140,000 square feet of floor space, the show will feature more than 150 manufacturers and companies ranging all over the elevator industry. Nothing related to commercial and residential vertical transportation will be left out. Whether you're a contractor, field personnel, consultant, inspector, building manager, architect, or engineer, you can't afford to miss this year's show. The exhibit hall will be open from 9:30AM-5:00PM on Thursday and 9:30AM-3:00PM on Friday.
NAEC Convention 2008: Roundtable Discussions and Educational Seminars
The NAEC Convention has always been about the elevator industry. The convention's series of roundtable discussions and education seminars provide you with a chance to network, join in on discussions about the business, and learn about the most cutting edge technology, business practices, and construction advice affecting the industry.
National Association of Elevator Contractors Annual Convention Social Engagements
The NAEC knows that networking is as important to success in the elevator industry as knowledge of the business. That being the case, the 2008 convention offers multiple opportunities to spend time with, and get to know, others in the field. On Tuesday, you can choose from a golf tournament or the Fort Worth Stockyards and National Cowgirl Hall of Fame Tour. The Sixth Floor Museum and Dallas City Tour, Fun Run '08, and the EESF Party will all take place on Wednesday. On Thursday evening, you can attend the cocktail reception, followed on Friday evening by the Dregs Party that will close the convention.
