How to Hit a Bull's-Eye With Your Marketing

Many businesses in rough times make the biggest mistake by cutting back on their marketing. This is the wrong thing to do and let me explain why strong companies manage to thrive when others are suffering.

Marketing is the life-blood of your business, unfortunately, just about everyone markets improperly, so here are a few steps to help you improve your marketing results.

Step One
Define your best customers and build a list of them.

Step Two
Define the biggest need of theirs that you can fulfill or solution to their problem you can offer them. Build you marketing message around these two elements.

Step Three
Keep in touch with them on a regular basis. It is a proven fact that it takes up to seven or more exposures to your message before the majority of clients will respond. So, commit to contacting them on regular time intervals and always keep in touch.

Remember, the best customers are the ones who have already purchased from you before and are happy with your services. By keeping in touch with them, you'll automatically increase sales. By building off the knowledge of who your best customers are, you're still increasing sales!

this sounds like excellent advice. in my situation i have always worked with first time business owners that don't ever seem to open up a second venue. with the current economy my incoming calls have ceased, and the customers I have done work for in the past only have minimal amounts of work they are willing to do. with my company, B.D.Mack, Inc, I seem to have carved an unstable nitch. wouldn't it be wise to seek out new customers in targeted areas where they might have more money to spend for the luxury product or work that my company supplies?

As we all know, Landscaping is a must for South Florida law, every one has to have their grass cut and a well attended garden. But as economy is so slow and delicate clients are cutting back on services and doing it themselves. I will cetainly appreciate if you can give me new stratergies to keep and get new clients in order to continue our hard and good job we always do. We also attend clients in Boca Raton, Deerfield, Ft. Lauderdale in Florida. Our company is small but has alwas had 60 to 70 clients and now it has gone down to 20 25 due to bad economy. Thank you for all the tips you can send us inorder to keep on with our desire to keep South Florida looking beutiful. At this time we have had no rain almost all of this year, so that too is a very important.

I have been in buisness since 1994 and have an A+ rating with the BBB. I have never had a hard time finding enough work just by using word of mouth. Since the economy has slowed down so much I have found myself in unfamiliar teratories. I am going to be in the next printing of the columbus oh yellow book and yellow pages in hopes that it will help pick up alot more work. What I realy need is a few good relationships with some big contractors such as Feazel Roofing, Able and so on. How can I get them to give me some work and give me a chance to show them how I handle my business will give them a piece of mind that they are not used to by thier other Gutter companie. I know I have more to offer because I know thier current gutter guy,a day late and a dollar short is what I always said to him. He always had a good excuse lined up why it wasnt done on time or why it was done wrong. laying blame everywhere except wher it should have went. His personal life always went hand in hand in his business life. If you have any sugestions please E-mail me at mail@allaboutexteriors.us
