While there is something to be said for old style charm, not all of us are keen on antique living. For those with more contemporary tastes, the living room has long been a veritable playground. There's HD, LCD, surround sound, and so many others that some rooms of the house are often left out of the digital loop. Many modern bathrooms have radiant flooring and heated towel racks that will keep you toasty warm on the coldest winter mornings without skyrocketing your monthly bills. Modern lighting design will create a relaxing ambiance that you might associate with an exclusive spa. And everything in a modern bathroom, from the toilet to the faucet and the shower, is designed with modern water conservation in mind. Not bad for one generation of home remodeling savvy.
