The accepted rule is that the more regularly you schedule cleaning services to come in and clean your home the better. Not all homeowners live by that suggestion, however, or have the funds to do so. If you fit into one of those categories, keep in mind that cleaning services can also be a valuable resource for short term needs, or even single cleanings during busy times.
Holidays
The busiest times in almost all our lives tend to center around the holidays. Guests are cycled in and out, entertaining means bigger messes, and cleaning often gets swept under the rug in light of more important commitments. Why not free up your time for the more important things by hiring cleaning services to come into your home on an as needed basis? Whether you're hosting Thanksgiving dinner or a Christmas gathering, your guests will be more than impressed by how spotless your home is when they arrive. And you'll enjoy their compliments even more knowing you didn't wear yourself out in the process!
Holidays Aren't the Only Times We're Swamped
Of course, holidays are not the only high stress times in our lives. The kids have soccer tournaments and piano recitals to attend, things come up at the office, and at times we just get overwhelmed with the daily grind of cooking meals, getting everybody ready and out the door in the morning, and making time for family and friends. Cleaning services are valuable resources at these times as well. You'll be able to cross a long list of dreaded jobs off of your to-do list, and you'll be freeing yourself up for the more important stuff to boot.

Cleaning Services Are Flexible
The best thing about hiring cleaning services is that the terms are completely up to you. If you just want them to come through and do a quick once-over, tell them so. If you need a deep cleaning before the in-laws show up for their visit, that's okay too. And if that project at work looks like it's going to stretch out over a few weeks or months, talk to your provider about performing regular weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly cleaning services as well. Remember, it's your home. Just tell your contractor what you need and they'll find a way to make it happen.
